Staples Extends AccessVia Web dSignShop to Canadian Stores
Retailer Printing Both French, English Languages and Color on Shelf-Edge Signs
SEATTLE January 5, 2012 – AccessVia announces that Staples Canada is implementing Web dSignShop for printing shelf-edge signs and labels. Signs are produced in both English and French language and the program interface is presented in French to stores with French-speaking employees. Signs are printed in full color and include product images.
AccessVia Web dSignShop® enables retail stores to publish accurate and attractive signs, shelf-edge labels, fact tags, coupons and more. Using data from a central source, it delivers on-demand sign and label printing capabilities to your stores via the Internet. Support for switching between user interface languages and printing multiple languages on signs provides a strong benefit for companies that operate internationally.
“The AccessVia application gives us the ability to manage and produce signs from a single, easy to use platform,” says Joe Sherratt, Process Improvement Manager from Staples. “Having the ability to create and print signs in full color with incorporated images will automate the process of creating special bundle signs, provide greater flexibility in the layout/design of signage and eliminate our dependency on pre-printed signage templates. Signs are now easier to create in store than ever before. New associates learn the system much faster with fewer errors, which all adds up to time saved and reduced waste”.
The AccessVia Publishing Platform gives retailers control over all aspects of designing, publishing, and managing shelf-edge product merchandising. The AccessVia Publishing Platform seamlessly delivers print and digital promotions to stores for immediate availability or to central print service providers for high-speed production. Stores can re-print from centrally produced batches. The same system produces digital signs and ESLs — ensuring consistency across all customer touch points. To measure the success of promotions and understand store activity, the platform also delivers analysis and reports of store activity and provides intelligence on how promotions impacted sales. AccessVia Publishing Platform for retail is the preferred platform for retailers in over 55 countries, 25 languages, and more than 60,000 stores worldwide.
