Core Technologies
AccessVia Publishing Server
Overview
The AccessVia Publishing Server plays a similar role to the AccessVia Publishing Engine, but in thin-client and display environments. The Publishing Server provides data merging, rendering, and user interface services from a central location. In-store users need only a Web browser or digital display device to interact with the Publishing Server.
Top Benefits
- The Web-based architecture means ease of deployment and maintenance.
- Sophisticated patent-pending compression and decompression technology prints signs over the Internet with all of the speed and control that you’d expect from a local desktop printer.
- Retail headquarters maintains control over the look and quality of sign design and copy, while stores can print on-demand.
Product Features
- The architecture is infinitely scalable. Tier 1 retailers print millions of signs per week to thousands of retail stores with Web dSignShop.
- Headquarters can deliver store-specific templates with customized branding across an enterprise.
- Stores can print one sign, a batch (group) of signs, or multiple batches containing hundreds of signs. Batches can be re-printed as needed, or individual signs in a batch can be printed.
- The user can customize the look of a sign by setting template variables – for example, a variable might change whenever an item goes on sale. Variables can also be set automatically by data.
- Users can preview signs before printing.
